kiss my funstuff asked:
My sisters 6 yr old male cat is very sick. He is neutered and declawed and he is a house cat only…he never goes outside. He started puking about 5 days ago. It was yellow and a little foamy…like bile/stomach acid… We took him to the vet yesterday and we found out he was dehydrated so they wanted to keep him over night and put him on an IV and run some tests. They took blood but nothing came back in the test results…. They did x-rays and found nothing, no obstructions… They did an ultrasound and found nothing. The cat puked again this morning, and they said they were going to give him some food tonight to see if he would hold it down….and now they have suggested possibly doing surgery to look inside the cat. But we are hoping it doesn’t go that far.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with the cat? Any ideas of what we should do? This is a very loved family cat, with 3 little girls that love him very much.
